Courses offered by Saraswati Vidyalaya Montessori Institute are –

  1. Diploma in ECCE ( 1 year). Eligibility -12th pass.
  2. Advanced Diploma in Montessori and Grade Level Education.( 1 year)

Both the courses are of 1 year duration. ( from June to April)

Yes. Saraswati Vidyalayal Montessori Institute is affiliated to Bharat Sewak Samaj, National Development Agency of Planning Commission, Government of India. Therefore , both the courses offered are recognized all over India.

National Education Policy, 2020 has recommended and mandated  knowledge of Early Childhood Care and Education for teachers/caregivers of kids in pre-primary/balwadi/anganwadi. Ministry of women and Child development and Integrated Child Development Services have also come up with child development programmes like “Poshan bhi Padhai bhi” for early childhood. Hence there is ample scope in the field of child development.

Out of the two courses only Diploma in ECCE is available online on special demand for working women and teachers on producing valid documents.

75 % attendance is mandatory for online as well as offline classes.

Yes, inhouse intership programmed is available in the campus itself. We have pre-primary unit also attached to the Parent body called South Indian Education Society (regd.) Nagpur. Practice teaching classes are held in the school campus itself.

Anyone who is interested in child development can pursue this course. Preferably those who want to get into the teaching line, who wants to run a pre primary unit, one who wants to open a creche or a person who is interested in teaching/propogating about child development and child psychology can pursue these courses.

For both the course, the minimum qualification required is 12th pass. But graduation will be preferable for advanced diploma in montessori and grade level education. A little efficiency in spoken english will be always beneficial.

Acording to BSS’s guidelines 75% attendance is mandatory.

Examinations are held by the BSS in the month of April  results of which are declared in the month of June. Total weightage of paper is 100M for all the four papers.
